Wheel thrown mug with a chunky handle, this style of mug is heavier than a standard mug but still comfortable to hold. This is a one of a kind design, there is only one available. 

I sat down to glaze this mug on a day I was feeling particularly in limbo, not being sure if my entire life what about to change or if nothing was about to change. Admittedly even typing this I am still in that limbo, but I’m not afraid of it. This designs is loose and flowy, controlled but ready for anything.  

Important Information Regarding Partially Glazed Ceramics | Sensitivity & Safety:

Sensitivity: Please note this mug has a significant amount of unglazed surface area that has the texture of a lightly gritty clay. Due to the abstract designs these unglazed areas may be where your lips meet the mug, or where your hands or thumb rest. 

Safety: Ceramic wares with partially unglazed surface area may be more susceptible to thermal shock, similar to a glass vessel. Be mindful not to expose material to sudden excessively hot temperatures (boiling water should never be added directly), and allow your mug to come to room temperature before using if shipped during a cold month.
